Job Summary
  • Manages Press Brake Department to meet production goals and accuracy. 
 
Job Accountabilities
  • Assures material is formed per engineering drawings and falls within manufacturing tolerances. 
  • Assures bill of materials has been fulfilled and jobs are kitted before moving to the next production phase. 
  • Assures jobs are completed through department in a timely matter to meet customer and production needs. 
  • Schedules departmental work by assigning jobs to appropriate machine and worker skill set, balancing available resources.
  • Assists employees with operation of machinery when needed.
  • Conducts required hiring, training, mentoring and terminations within the department. 
  • Reviews and approves department payroll changes and vacation requests.
 
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year as a Press Brake Operator. 
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years as a Press Brake Operator and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge of Press Brake machinery and tooling.
