Pay Rate: $28/HR Location: Hialeah, FL Job Summary Manages Press Brake Department to meet production goals and accuracy. Job Accountabilities Assures material is formed per engineering drawings and falls within manufacturing tolerances. Assures bill of materials has been fulfilled and jobs are kitted before moving to the next production phase. Assures jobs are completed through department in a timely matter to meet customer and production needs. Schedules departmental work by assigning jobs to appropriate machine and worker skill set, balancing available resources. Assists employees with operation of machinery when needed. Conducts required hiring, training, mentoring and terminations within the department. Reviews and approves department payroll changes and vacation requests. Job Qualifications Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience: 1 year as a Press Brake Operator. Preferred Experience: 2 years as a Press Brake Operator and 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication. Knowledge of Press Brake machinery and tooling.
