Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and manufacturing technology. This position will provide technical support to office and manufacturing employees, troubleshoot IT issues, and help maintain reliable systems to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of IT systems administration experience.
- Manufacturing or automotive manufacturing experience required.
- MES experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting both office and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server, and network systems.
- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and VLANs.
- Experience supporting servers, software applications, and system upgrades.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, EDI, SQL, and network infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support when needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support IT hardware, software, servers, and network systems.
- Provide daily helpdesk and technical support to office and manufacturing employees.
- Troubleshoot urgent IT issues and help minimize production downtime.
- Set up and manage employee user accounts and network access.
- Install and troubleshoot computers, printers, barcode scanners, and other equipment.
- Maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, and manufacturing network systems.
- Support system backups, security, antivirus, and software updates.
- Support ERP and EDI systems and assist with system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and maintain applications and databases.
- Create technical documentation and assist with employee training.
- Work with internal teams and outside vendors on IT projects.
- Help improve IT systems, applications, and processes.
- Follow all company safety and security policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
