Requirements of position




 
: Education/Experience Requirements:
 • 5+ Years Electrical Experience required
 • Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
 • PMP Certification is a plus.
 • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
 • Proficient with PROCORE (Project Management Software) preferred.
 • Technical knowledge of industrial control systems and electrical construction trade.
 • 3-Year minimum experience managing medium to large sized projects.
 • Must be familiar with and follow applicable codes for all areas of operation.
 • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, basic calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
 
 
 
 
Responsibilities of position





 
Key Responsibilities:
 • Providing on-site direction and leadership for subcontractors and workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations.
 • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates.
 • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine scope.
 • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and vendors to obtain pricing and technical details.
 • Prepare bid proposals, including labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
 • Managing a team, evaluating employees' progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems.
 • Estimating the time and material costs required for projected jobs; keeping cost and job records and submitting reports; initiating requisitions for supplies, tools, and equipment.
 • Organizing and planning industrial and commercial projects, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safety.
 • Plan and organize commercial and industrial electrical projects from pre-construction to commissioning.
 • Planning, scheduling, assigning, participating in, and inspecting the work of power linesmen, electricians, and trades helpers.
 • Training and instructing subordinates on detailed procedures.
 • Perform regular site inspections to ensure code compliance, safety standards, and quality workmanship.
 • Coordinate procurement of supplies, equipment, and tools; maintain job records and reports.
 • Enforce safety protocols and train personnel on equipment/tool usage and workplace safety.
 • Delegating, communicating and motivating the team towards a deadline, while meeting financial expectations for the project.
