| ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Minimum of one year customer service experience or educational equivalent.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Must be detailed oriented and organized.
o Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
o Strong analytical skills
o Strong computer software skills.
o Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
o Prior shipping industry experience.
o Computer product (software applications/hardware) knowledge.
o Assist to lift heavy objects by hand /hand truck
o Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, Saturday is a mandatory workday

| Responsibilities of position
|
|||||
| POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Perform routine traffic and expediting work as required to process cargo shipments, in
accordance with Company’s policy
o Maintain accurate and intimate knowledge of Company’s rates and policies for transporting
freight and operate accordingly
o Secure and furnish information to carrier and customer representatives, maintaining good
relations with customers, brokers and other persons involved in the shipping of cargo
o Rating, preparing forms and calculating weights and balances as needed
o Perform routine clerical duties including typing, filing, sorting, checking, tracing, operating
fax and copying machines
o Perform cashier duties
o Perform data entry of information (internal system)
o containers.
o Receiving and thoroughly check/examine cargo entering the Location
o Load cargo onto pallets and installs strapping, netting and bracing, padding to prevent shifting
or damage in transit.
o Attach identifying labels to shipments or marks information on cartons, pallets or other handling units.
o Receive cargo from delivery vehicles into location and prepare required documentation for data entry
