Job Description:
A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal structures and equipment. The role requires interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding methods.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to project requirements.
- Inspect welded surfaces for defects and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
- Measure and align workpieces using precision measuring instruments.
- Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a welder or fabricator.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
- Welding certification is preferred.

Working Conditions
