The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Tig Welder to work at a company located in the Hialeah area!

The responsibilities of the Welder include, but are not limited to:
· Read and understand drawings, sketches and templates in order to properly build the equipment.
· Operates arc or gas welding equipment for difficult or unusual hand welding operations on a range of metals and alloys for a variety of complex precision assemblies involving a considerable amount of welding to high strength requirements
· Verify and assemble the different components of the stainless door (i.e. confirm proper location and alignment of holes, cutouts, etc.).
· Set and regulate gas and current and voltage for proper penetration and fusion of metals.
· Select electrode type and size, tips and welding rod.
· Transport stainless steel pieces using a “rolling table.”
· Lower* stainless steel pieces from a “rolling table” to “horses” at welder’s station approximately 1 foot away.
· Weld the stainless-steel components.
· Transport semi – completed doors to the “door press” machine.
· Lower* the semi – completed door onto the “door press” machine slab, activate the machine and lift* the door back onto the “rolling table” when finished.
· Assists other trades personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
Requirements:
· Welder certificate a plus.
· Must have prior related experience in Tig Welding
· Capable to pass and drug test/background check
· Must be hard working and dependable
· Must have a keen attention to detail
· Must be flexible in performing other job responsibilities when the situation dictates.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
· Prior experience with kitchen equipment is a plus
· Must have experience on Tig welding of stainless-steel components

*Note: Welders are required to wear back support belts and request assistance before lifting any and all stainless-steel doors. There are several types of doors, which all weigh different. There should be a minimum of two people lifting any equipment. On average, the majority of the doors we make require only two people to lift the equipment. The average amount of weight they are lifting is about 60 lbs. On less frequent occasions, three or four people are required. The average amount of weight they are lifting for heavier doors is about 50 lbs. A forklift is used to lift and transport the equipment in extreme cases.
