Job Squad is currently looking for a Warehouse Lead.

 

Summary

 

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping raw materials and finished goods. This hands-on role ensures accurate inventory management, efficient material handling, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in helping maintain the smooth flow of goods to and from the production floor and to our customers.

 

Responsibilities

 

Unload deliveries and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documents. 

Properly label, store, and organize raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished products. 

Support accurate inventory tracking and participate in cycle counts and stock rotation (FIFO practices). 

 

Pick customer and production orders accurately and stage them for shipping or use in production. 

Pack, label, and load finished goods according to customer specifications and shipping schedules. 

Assist in preparing necessary shipping documentation and labels. 

 

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times. 

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. 

Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all warehouse and food safety protocols. 

 

Communicate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure seamless material flow. 

Report any inventory shortages, product quality issues, or safety concerns promptly. 

Support special projects, such as warehouse reorganizations, audits, and seasonal demands.
