Position SummaryThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and supporting production through effective inventory control, material flow, and accurate system transactions. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and operational organization. The Operations Supervisor will coordinate closely with warehouse staff, production teams, and management to ensure materials are properly received, documented, stored, and delivered to the production floor in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations - Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, put-away, storage, and internal distribution of materials.
- Ensure all incoming goods are accurately received, verified, and properly recorded in the system.
- Oversee proper storage and organization of materials to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Inventory Management - Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper transaction entry and monitoring.
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, tracked, and stored according to company standards.
Data Entry & System Transactions - Ensure all warehouse transactions are entered accurately and in a timely manner, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material issues.
- Monitor and verify data integrity within the inventory management system.
- Train and guide team members on proper system usage and transaction procedures.
Production Support - Oversee work order entry and processing for production requirements.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and components to the production floor.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed and production schedules are supported.
