Pay and Hours : 8am-5pm $24-$25/hr
Position Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Traffic Coordinator with Export Ocean Knowledge with a strong background in Caribbean exports to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on experience with export documentation, and the ability to manage shipments from start to finish in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process ocean export shipments to Caribbean destinations.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, EEI filings, and U.S. Customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and export requirements.
- Process export documentation through Magaya.
- Coordinate with steamship lines, trucking companies, warehouses, and overseas agents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by updating clients on shipment status and resolving shipment issues.
- Verify shipping instructions and ensure all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
- Maintain shipment files and enter shipment data accurately into the system.
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of experience in the freight forwarding or international shipping industry.
· Required experience handling Ocean Export shipments to the Caribbean.
· Magaya experience is required
