- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 2 years of experience as a teller or in a related field preferred
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Experience with financial institution software systems is preferred
- Cash handling, customer service, and/or sales experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
|
|
Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Open and close Personal and Business accounts, process account changes, and other account maintenance
- Assist customers with debit card and online banking issues
- Perform routine bank teller tasks, including making deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, receiving loan payments, and cashing checks
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer daily by accounting for cash assigned, received, and disbursed
- Comply and stay up to date with applicable banking laws and regulations
- Promote strong customer service, build relationships, and offer new products and features
- Demonstrate good risk management decisions, including displaying solid knowledge of guidelines for cash handling, fraud prevention, and robbery
- Actively contribute to meet the branch goals
- Other duties as assigned
