Pay Range: $21.00-$30.00+ per hour based on experience 
Shift/Hours:  6:00am-2:00pm (onsite)

This is an onsite temp/contract to hire position so will start off as an onsite temporary employee for the company.  could convert to permanent position after 3 months or so. 
 
 
 
Requirements of position



Qualifications
  1. Minimum of two years of progressive experience in an IT support role
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical users.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
  6.  Proficient with a broad array of networking and systems hardware and software.
  7. Experience with Zebra printers is a plus.
  8. Must be able to work onsite, in office. No remote/work from home.
  9. The IT Technical Support Specialist will sit  in the IT tech front office but will need to go on the company’s production floor daily to fix workstations as needed.
  10. Must be comfortable with working at a food (fish) processing plant and putting on PPE (personal protective equipment), hairnets, boots, etc. as needed. This will be provided to you by the client. 
  11. Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds of equipment from time to time in the facility.

The role is contract (Temp) to Hire so it will start out as a temporary role and convert to permanent in a few months.

About the job
 
The IT Technical Support Specialist provides technical support in resolving desktop, software, or network issues for end users. The IT Tech Specialist is responsible for maintaining the IT servers and inventory of the facility. This is an onsite role (no remote work).
 
 
What You Will Do: 
 
  • Hours of job: 6:00am-2:00pm (onsite) Monday-Friday
  • Assess and troubleshoot various desktop, software, network, as well as factory and office equipment.
  • Maintain server room including general cleanliness, cleaning the server vents, and checking for LED alerts.
  • Complete end user requests including updating intranet content using the CMS and basic HTML, creating label printer templates, excel spreadsheets, online website accounts, pdf forms, setting up exchange on mobile devices, setting up VPN connections and working with users to help troubleshoot VPN connection errors.
  • Responsible for desktop management including installing Microsoft updates, adding computers to domain, and running anti-virus.
  • Responsible for printer management including replacing toner cartridges, keeping track of printer maintenance kit status and replacing rollers.
  • Responsible for phone management including adding extensions, modifying caller ID's, and resetting voicemail passwords.
  • Manage IT inventory of FL facility by logging all IT equipment such as laptops, cables, switches, etc.
  • Collaborate with leadership on IT projects and initiatives.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
