Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience operating tablet press machines in a cGMP-regulated facility preferred.
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations related to dietary supplement manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand batch records, SOPs, and equipment manuals in English.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and good organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing/cleanroom environment.
- Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Exposure to powders, noise, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate tablet press machines (e.g., Fette, Stokes, Korsch) according to SOPs and batch record specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize tablet quality (weight, hardness, thickness, appearance).
- Monitor tablet production for consistent quality and output.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Complete all required documentation, including batch production records, equipment logs, and cleaning records accurately and legibly.
- Adhere to cGMP, safety, and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance & Cleaning:
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tablet presses.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for changeovers or sanitization.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect tablets for visual defects and proper specifications.
- Communicate any deviations or mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor or QA.
- Production Support:
- Assist with material staging and movement (e.g., powders, granules, tablets).
- Collaborate with other operators, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure efficient workflow.
