Requirements of position



Position OverviewWe are seeking a Wide Format Print & Applications Specialist to operate and support our SwissQ UV flatbed printing platform.This role combines SwissQ printer operation, specialty print applications development, and technical prepress support. The ideal candidate understands how digital print files translate into consistent physical results and can develop QuickSets, actions, and automated workflows for applications such as texture, varnish layering, and dimensional effects.Candidates with direct SwissQ printer experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain SwissQ UV flatbed printer
  • Develop repeatable applications such as varnish effects, dimensional texture, and specialty finishes
  • Create and manage QuickSets and standardized print recipes for scalable production
  • Prepare and review production files using Photoshop, Illustrator and RIP software (Caldera preferred)
  • Build efficient file templates and automated workflows
  • Run production jobs across substrates such as canvas, paper, acrylic, and specialty materials
  • Monitor print quality and adjust settings as needed
  • Collaborate with production, art, and product development teams
 Qualifications
  • Experience operating SwissQ UV flatbed printers strongly preferred
  • Experience with wide format printing and UV flatbed production
  • Familiarity with Caldera or similar RIP software
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop for production file preparation
  • Understanding of print production workflows and substrates
  • Experience with Durst, EFI Vutek, Canon Arizona, or AGFA flatbeds will also be considered
