Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $57k-$61k per year
Job Description:
The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, and strive to keep transportation costs in addition, he/she will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates.
- Responsible for managing all shipping schedule activities.
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments.
- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.
- Manage Imports (Raw materials, machinery, parts), and interaction with Customs Brokers
- Responsible for having POA and Export/Import Permits in place.
- Handle/issue documentation for Exports (Pro-forma Invoice, Shipper Letter of Instructions
- Issue Export Health Certificates with government agencies (i.e., NOAA, FDA).
- Manage the day-to-day logistics operation, inbound of raw materials
- Resolve issues and complaints with carriers.
- Negotiate rates with Freight Forwarders and carriers.
- Set up and Manage Drawback claims.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
- Three to five years prior related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of cGMP.
- ERP System knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.
- Able to effectively communicate in English written and oral.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment with accountability for deadlines.
- Able to follow routine verbal and/or written instructions.
