$22.00-24.00 depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor / Process Technician to join our clients’ manufacturing team. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations while driving a culture of safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in injection molding processes and the leadership skills necessary to guide production teams toward operational excellence. This role is responsible for daily shift performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and 5S, while ensuring customer requirements and production goals are consistently achieved.
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will work closely with production, quality, materials, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement, troubleshooting issues, and implement long-term process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and support production personnel.
- Process, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding operations.
- Utilize Scientific Injection Molding principles to resolve process issues.
- Monitor production performance, scrap, efficiency, and quality metrics.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Complete production reports, process sheets, and setup documentation.
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and materials teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, ISO, and food safety requirements.
- Support equipment evaluation, repairs, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of injection molding processing experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with Scientific Injection Molding preferred.
Physical & Work Environment
- Frequently stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment.
