Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations at our Miramar distribution facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient warehouse flow.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
· Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery trucks.
· Transport merchandise, pallets, and materials to designated storage locations.
· Perform inventory movements and replenishment tasks.
· Assist with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment activities.
· Verify quantities and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
· Follow all OSHA, company safety, and warehouse procedures.
· Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, labeling, and palletizing.
Qualifications
· Bilingual or Spanish Only Okay
· Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
· Valid forklift certification is preferred.
· Experience in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
· Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
· Apparel, retail, or e-commerce distribution experience.
· RF Scanner experience.
· Inventory and warehouse management system knowledge.
