Requirements of position 

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a logistics or shipping supervisory role and a strong understanding of safety compliance and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications 

• At least 2 years of experience as a Logistics or Shipping Supervisor 

• Proven ability to oversee shipping operations and staff on 2nd shift 

• Strong knowledge of safety compliance, OSHA standards, and workplace regulations 

• Ability to enforce safety policies and ensure adherence to company procedures 

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills 

Responsibilities of position 

  Oversees daily shipping operations to ensure accurate, on-time outbound deliveries 

  Manages shipping schedules, carrier coordination, and route planning 

  Supervises warehouse staff, assigning workloads and monitoring performance 

  Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies 

  Verifies shipping documentation, BOLs, and packing lists for accuracy 

  Coordinates loading and unloading of freight, including heavy and oversized shipments 

  Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations 

  Operates and oversees use of sit-down and stand-up forklifts 

  Resolves shipping discrepancies, damages, and delivery issues efficiently 

  Utilizes WMS and Excel to track shipments and generate reports
