Requirements of position:

 

 Minimum Qualifications:
 • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent.
 • Must possess sound knowledge of general warehouse operations, preferably in the aviation industry, with thorough understanding of shipping procedures; possess knowledge of Fed-Ex, UPS and DHL shipping and tracking systems.
 Preferred Qualifications:
 Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) and possess strong organizational, analytical and administrative skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills.
 • Positive and professional attitude.
 • Responsible, reliable, punctual, hard-working and energetic.
 • Maintain the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities of position

Job Description and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs):
 The Shipping Expeditor plays a key role in maintaining high quality standards while complying with GAT processes. The shipping and receiving clerk position verify and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
 Responsibilities:
 • Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped.
 • Process orders based on the buyer have preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
 • Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
 • Follow ATA Spec 300 Packing of Airlines Supplies.
 • Familiar with DOT & IATA Hazmat Shipping process.
 • Quantum ERP system knowledge (a plus).
