Pay and Hours : 8AM-5PM $22-$24/hr
Position Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities for the Jacksonville warehouse. This position ensures the accurate and timely movement of materials by maintaining inventory records, processing ERP transactions, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating with internal departments, carriers, and customers.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for the Jacksonville warehouse.
• Schedule carrier appointments, container deliveries, and customer pickups.
• Track inbound containers and monitor free-time and detention to minimize unnecessary charges.
• Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, shipping labels, and receiving documentation.
• Receive and verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Process all shipping and receiving transactions within the company's ERP system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
• Coordinate intercompany material transfers between the Miami and Jacksonville facilities.
• Communicate inventory availability and shipment status with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Maintain warehouse files, shipping records, and office supplies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum two (2) years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
We Offer:
Selected candidate will train and work from our Miami location for a minimum of 3 weeks before transitioning to Jacksonville. Travel expenses will be covered associated with training period.
