The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work at a company located in the Eaton Rapids, MI area!

Payrate: $20-23/hr (depending on level of experience)
 
Shift: Full-time
Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Requirements of position
 
Skills and Qualifications: 
  1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
  2. Forklift experience required: Must have the ability to drive a forklift safely and accurately
  3. Experience picking and pulling orders (1-2 years minimum)
  4. Knowledge of computer programs as well as scanning inventory (SAP System)
  5. Must be dependable, responsible, able to work independently as well as take direction from Team Lead/Supervisor 
  6. Work safely and follow all plant safety rules and PPE requirements.
  7. High School Diploma or equivalent 
  8. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math 
  9. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  10. Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Responsibilities of position
 
Responsibilities: 
  1. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, invoices, and orders to ensure accuracy.
  2. Record shipment details such as weights, damages, and discrepancies for inventory and reporting purposes.
  3. Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, work orders, and shipping orders.
  4. Safely operate forklifts or other lifting equipment to load, unload, move, and stack materials.
  5. Transport materials between receiving, storage, and production areas.
  6. Load and unload materials manually or with equipment from pallets, skids, trucks, or other transport vehicles.
  7. Inspect and secure loads to ensure safe handling and accurate delivery within the facility.
  8. Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance such as cleaning, fueling, or charging batteries.
  9. Pull materials for production, return unused materials to inventory, and keep storage areas organized.
  10. Complete cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
  11. Support production and other departments as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.

This role supports daily warehouse and production operations by handling incoming and outgoing materials, operating forklifts, and maintaining organized inventory. Attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and delivered to production.
