| Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (PhD preferred).
Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, ICP-MS).
Experience with method validation and regulatory submissions.
Familiarity with cGMP, FDA dietary supplement regulations (21 CFR Part 111).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with herbal extracts and natural product chemistry
Knowledge of global regulatory requirements (EU, Canada, etc.)
Experience in contract manufacturing or product commercialization
Work Environment
Laboratory and office-based role
May involve handling chemicals and working with analytical instruments
Occasional collaboration with manufacturing facilities

| Responsibilities of position
|
|
| Lead the development and optimization of nutraceutical formulations (tablets, capsules, powders, liquids).
Design and execute analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testing.
Oversee method development, validation, and transfer in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and applicable regulatory standards (FDA, USP, AOAC).
Conduct stability studies and interpret data to support product shelf life.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to scale formulations from lab to manufacturing.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions.
Review and approve laboratory documentation, SOPs, and technical reports.
Mentor junior chemists and laboratory staff.
Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and regulatory changes in nutraceuticals.
