Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Sanitation Worker / Machine Cleaner to support sanitation operations within the production area. This role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and machinery, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize production machines, equipment, and work areas
  • Perform deep cleaning of machinery according to sanitation schedules
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning (as trained)
  • Use approved chemicals and cleaning agents safely and correctly
  • Follow all sanitation, GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment
  • Properly document sanitation activities as required
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and production staff
  • Wear and properly use required PPE at all times

Requirements
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish required)
  • Previous sanitation, machine cleaning, or production experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, or GMP standards is a plus
  • Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight if applicable]
  • Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and tools
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
