Jobsquad is currently hiring for DSD Routes for a well-known snack food company. The primary purpose of this role is to service established customers by creating an order, rotating products, and stocking shelves with snack food items. Accounts include large chain grocery stores and convenience stores. Product will be pulled from the warehouse cover Gadsden and Rainbow City and delivered throughout the area.A DOT medical card is required for this route.This route has: - Several grocery stores and convenience stores on this route (some locations will need deliveries multiple times per week)
- Payrate of $24.00/hr.
- Schedule: 40 hrs. a week, Mon - Fri (must be Flexible to work some weekends)
- Start time is typically between 5:00am-7:00am
- Routes are designed to be 8-10 hours/day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Candidate must be willing to perform the following tasks and meet the criteria below: - Must have at least 2 years of Route driving
- Must be able to drive up to a 26-foot box truck.
- Travel between stores in the area.
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 20lbs – will be walking up and down the back of the cargo truck loading and unloading products.
- Must be able to keep a schedule assigned to the route. Must be able to use a handheld computer.
- Must be able to manage inventory.
- Must be able to check-in/check-out products accurately with the receiving personnel.
