Pay/hours for position

Pay: $18/hr

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-3pm or (EOP)

 

Requirements of position

The Driver performs all tasks involved within the Driver/ Fleet department, including but not limited to ensuring that the correct product is loaded onto a truck, all product stored in the truck is within the right temperature, all manifests match the product on the truck, delivering the product in safe, timely manner to the customers. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Performs work as assigned by production manager/ supervisor • Complete route assigned by the manager • Ensure that the manifest matches products in the truck • Ensure that the truck is loaded properly • Ensure that the truck is fully operational and up to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s standards • Safely and in a timely manner deliver products to customers • Maintaining the truck clean after each shift • Collecting cash/ checks from customers • Represent ACME in a professional matter • Other duties as assigned. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: • No Supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver license with no more than 3 points in the last two (2) years • 1-3 years of box truck driving experience • Experience in food company helpful, but not required 

Physical Requirements: 

• The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms or legs to perform job tasks. • Must be able to reach above and below shoulder height to move product. This includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility. • Ability to climb stairs. • The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups. • The ability to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job duties. • The ability to work in cold (32 to 45*F) and wet environment. • Indicate any Travel requirements • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

• Valid Medical DOT card • Follows EHS, GMP, HR and other company policies • Observe and follow all safety rules • Wear required PPE • Follow mandated OSHA regulations • Report all incidents including near misses immediately
