Roofing/Final finish/ Welders 

Position Location 

Columbia City 

Pay/hours for position 

  Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm $17+ DOE 

Requirements of position 

Ability to read a tape measure is a must 

Construction experience preferred  

Good attitude 

Ability and interest to learn 

Good communications and interpersonal skills 

Able to pass drug and extensive background check screenings 

Available to work Monday through Friday, occasional Saturday possible but not 

the normal 

7:00 am - 3:30 pm 

Responsibilities of position 

ROOFS:                     

           Build roof joist, install/spray foam, install heat duct and ceiling covering, set roof, install roof decking.                     

FINAL FINSH:                     

           Install back panel (drywall), trim, cove base, ACT ceiling grid and tile.  Make and install window casing/trim.  Install window                      

           blinds, interior and exterior doors and hardware.  Putty nail holes, chip in nails and clean up.                        

WELDING:                     

        Weld the chassis for the buildings to be built on (South Whitley location only).    Mig Welding                     

       AWS D1.1                     

·        Proven experience as a welder/fabricator or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.                     

·        Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.                     

·        Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.                     

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
