Job Description:
Basic Function:
The primary responsibility of this role is to work on a metallizer with additional responsibilities to perform preparation and detailed restoration of engine parts & components. Conforming to the specific routing tag & engine manual instructions of model being worked using approved data.
Duties are as follow but not limited to:

Preparation, rework and masking of various engine parts. Application of surface treatments and coatings.

Clean, set up and operate metallizer per scheduled sequence, work instructions, and customer requirement.

Ensures the use of appropriate manual references and proper tools in performing component restoration.

Full responsibility for the cleaning and maintenance of all supporting equipment in the department.

Removes grease, dirt, paint, and corrosion from aircraft surface, using media equipment, abrasives, solvents, and brushes.

Perform heat treatment and stress relief process.
Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and Spanish.

Must have a general understanding of Aircraft Component Maintenance Manuals.

Usage of company-issued personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for this position.

Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge; must take initiative to cross-train and sustain acquired skills.

Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to machine operation and product quality.
