Requirements of position
|
|
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
- MUST have food manufacturing experience.
- Familiar with state and federal food processing regulations required. .
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SAP experience is a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.

Responsibilities of position
|

Our food client is looking to hire a Quality Manager in their Seelyville, IN plant.
** Client will help with relocation expenses if not local to the IN area. **
As Quality Manager, you will direct all quality assurance and food safety functions. You will also plan, direct and supervise all quality assurance practices and procedures adhering to local, state and federal food processing manufacturing guidelines.
Job Duties:
- Audit Quality Assurance functions to assure continued compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain HACCP plan
- Coordinate multidisciplinary activities among various team members assuring timely, efficient and cost-effective finality.
- Administrate all product specifications assuring compliance with regulatory label requirements.
- Make thorough inspections of department and area, creating and maintaining written reports of findings and coordination corrective action as required.
- Develop all ingredient and nutritional information to be in regulatory compliance.
- Ensure food standard compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP and company policy.
- Monitor inspection of all incoming materials, ensuring proper rotation of same.
- Enforce GMP/HACCP standards and company policy at all times.
- SQF Practitioner and PCQI duties
- The responsibility for establishing and implementing the training needs of the organizations’ personnel to ensure they have the required competencies to carry out those functions affecting product, legality, safety, and quality.
- Maintain high quality and integrity throughout facility.
- May perform other functions as needed.
