| Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 1-2 yrs experience as a Test Technician (preferably in a manufacturing setting) Preferred Qualifications: HVAC Certification, Electrical/Mechanical Technical Degree, or related certification Associate degree in Electrical, Maintenance, or HVAC Technology The Quality Inspector & Test Technician supports production by ensuring our products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role combines inspection, end-of-line testing, troubleshooting, and technical support to maintain production flow and product reliability. Key Responsibilities Quality Inspection Perform end of line inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Maintain detailed inspection and record findings in system (tablet). Identify defects, determine root causes, and collaborate with production teams on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and industry regulations. Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. Test technician Serve as first point of contact for team leaders and supervisors when end-of-line test issues occur. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions during assembly and end-of-line testing. Analyze and interpret test data to diagnose issues and implement corrective solutions. Identify process improvement opportunities and update work instructions as needed. Communicate effectively with end-of-line operators to ensure daily production targets are met. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (compressors, fan motors, valves, condensers, piping, and control devices). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, refrigeration piping schematics, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings. Demonstrate troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and automated control systems (PLC knowledge preferred). Ability to detect subtle defects or non-conformances Basic knowledge of Ethernet networking and computer systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills. |
