| Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary
Owl Aerospace is seeking a Quality Control Inspector – Inventory to support our operations team by ensuring all aircraft parts, inventory materials, and documentation meet strict quality and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with the company’s Quality Management System and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and related documentation
- Verify certifications, packing lists, and trace documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Review part details including part numbers, serial numbers, condition, and quantities
- Identify and report nonconformance, discrepancies, or missing documentation
- Complete inspection checklists and accurately enter data into inventory systems
- Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Process pick tickets and inventory pulls in a timely manner
- Prepare and package materials for shipment to ensure protection and compliance
- Create shipping documentation including packing slips and invoices
- Process shipments using FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems
- Support returns (RMA), lot purchases, and inventory transactions
- Capture images documenting part condition
- Maintain organized storage of materials in designated areas
- Meet internal and external shipping deadlines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience
- 1+ year of aviation industry experience inspecting aircraft parts and documentation
- Experience with inventory systems and data entry
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with FAA, DOT, or international shipping regulations
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cycle counts, audits, and inventory control processes
- Experience with hazardous materials handling and shipping compliance
- Understanding of export compliance and freight carrier services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Combination of warehouse and office environment
- Regular standing, walking, lifting, and computer use
- Moderate exposure to warehouse noise and conditions
- Overtime may be required
