JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for Quality Assurance Technicians to join a food production facility in the snack division. This is a temporary position responsible for checking food products throughout the production process to make sure they meet company quality, food safety, and production standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect food products for weight, size, color, moisture, pH, ingredients, and overall quality.
- Test raw materials, products during production, and finished products.
- Accurately document all testing and inspection results.
- Check packages for proper filling, sealing, labeling, and code dates.
- Inspect finished products for breakage and other quality issues.
- Use testing equipment and assist with equipment validation and calibration.
- Report quality or food safety issues to Production and QA Supervisors.
- Help identify products that do not meet specifications and determine when products should be placed on hold.
- Monitor metal detector validation and verification.
- Audit allergen paperwork and production forms.
- Follow Food Safety and Food Quality Plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with production employees and supervisors.

- Able to perform measurements and quality testing.
- Able to accurately complete paperwork and documentation.
- Understands the importance of food safety and sanitation.
- Able to identify and report quality issues.
- Reliable and willing to work mandatory overtime and Saturdays.
- Able to work 100% onsite in Beloit, WI.
Important: This is a TEMPORARY Quality Assurance Technician position. The role involves hands-on product inspection, testing, documentation, and monitoring of food safety and quality throughout production.
