| Responsibilities of position
|
|||||
Description:
As a Production Technician you will be responsible for the handling, assembly and imaging of
various products in an assembly line environment. Other duties may include cleaning, heavy
equipment operation, operating company vehicles, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise
or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and
arranging for the transportation of products.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare equipment based on specific project needs.
• Handle sensitive IT equipment consistent to industry standards.
• Perform tasks that require repetitive, sometimes strenuous motions.
• Complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Experience with the Microsoft Operating System and Microsoft Suite
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Work in a fast pace warm/cool/noisy environment occasionally standing for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Pallet Jack experience helpful.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Based on the above essential functions this position is considered to be a safety sensitive job
function.
