Responsibilities of position




 
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading overnight manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role oversees production staff, drives KPI performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly collaborative, and experienced in manufacturing environments with strong analytical and process-improvement skills.
 
This is a Direct Hire role on 3rd shift offering a starting salary between $70k to $80k.
 
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
  • Supervise overnight production activities to meet or exceed quality, safety, and productivity goals.
  • Assign work, monitor workflow, and ensure staffing aligns with production requirements.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to production employees.
Operational Excellence
  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs; implement actions to improve performance.
  • Support and lead continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Ensure adherence to established ISO, safety, and quality standards.
Process & Inventory Management
  • Conduct daily material audits and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Utilize inventory control software such as SAP (or similar) to manage materials, transactions, and production data.
  • Complete and submit accurate daily production reports.
Training & Compliance
  • Train new employees on equipment use, safety practices, and production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with OSHA and internal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
 
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Strong knowledge of KPI development, tracking, and improvement
  • Background in process improvement
  • Experience using SAP or other inventory control software
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
