Job Squad is looking for Production Supervisor in Wyomissing, PA for our food manufacturing partner. 

 

**This is a direct hire role with the company** 

 

Essential Functions/Duties:

· Monitor production output and ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.

· Supervise and coordinate daily shift activities of production personnel, ensuring adherence to operating procedures and safety protocols.

· Work closely with the Shift Manager and other key management, to identify areas for process improvements and implement corrective actions.

· Conduct shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety updates, and operational challenges.

· Assist in troubleshooting equipment, maintenance planning, and ensuring proper functionality of production machinery.

· Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure continuous production flow.

· Train and mentor production employees, providing coaching and support to enhance skill development and performance.

· Ensure that personnel have proper qualifications, are properly trained, by facilitating job rotation and cross-training initiatives to develop a versatile workforce and improve team efficiency.

· Facilitate and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to address production challenges and enhance efficiency.

· Ensure timely and accurate completion of production reports and documentation.

· Collaborate with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

· Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.

· Assist in performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support career development for team members.

· Perform other duties as assigned by management.

· Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

· Proficiency in production reporting, scheduling, and documentation.

· Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting production equipment is a plus.
