Pay/hours for position

$55k - $60k per year.

Requirements of position

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment. 

• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control procedures, and safety regulations. 

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 

• OSHA certification or demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. 

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications and production management software. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products. 

• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, as required.

 

Responsibilities of position

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines. 

• Monitor production processes and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. 

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

 • Train, mentor, and motivate production staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. 

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. 

• Monitor quality control procedures and perform regular quality checks to maintain high product standards. 

• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and maintenance, to optimize production processes and resolve any issues. 

• Maintain accurate production records and reports, including production output, downtime, and quality metrics. 

• Conduct regular performance evaluations of production staff and provide feedback for their professional development. 

• Identify training needs and organize training programs to enhance the skills of production employees.
