|
| We are seeking a production supervisor for our Bread Manufacturing Plant. Previous experience in Food Manufacturing is a Plus.
Job Description:
- Consistent and punctual attendance on each scheduled workday. Report to work fit for duty and sustains fitness throughout the day.
- Check and verify that the pre-p checklist has been completed.
- Train and develop Leads and Operators to maximize profitability and on-time delivery of high-quality products for the customers.
- Oversee and direct production personnel, leads and the employees on the shift.
- Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements pertaining to SQF, GMP and all other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations that apply.
- Overall administrative responsibility for the shift (such as performance reviews, downtime tracking, disciplinary actions, etc.).
- Accountable for shift production schedule, efficiency of plant, minimizing downtime and waste.
- Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Develops, recommends and implements changes in working conditions to improve employee performance and product quality.
- Resolves workers’ issues and involve management if necessary
- Encourage a team environment with all employees by showing them respect and valuing the opinion of employees.
- Prepares and presents production data to the Production Manager.
- Ensures that operator reporting is done in a timely manner
- Takes responsibility for all activities in the absence of Senior Management.
- Ensures that all data collection is being captured by operators on the following categories: breakdowns, short stops, test time, defrost time, cleaning time, pieces per hour, etc.
- Responsible for all aspects of the line, packaging and ensuring that all lines are running to standard.
Salary: $63,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
Location: Coconut Creek
Shift: 3RD Shift – 6pm – 6am
