The Production Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining packaging equipment while ensuring production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Vocational degree in a technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic competencies preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment requiring long periods of standing and bending.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.

| Responsibilities
- Follow company work and safety policies and instructions.
- Ensure equipment and tools are present and ready at the start of shift.
- Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
- Perform quality checks at specified intervals to ensure product quality.
- Accurately complete production logs and documentation.
- Clean and sanitize packaging equipment.
- Perform weekly preventative maintenance.
- Set up equipment and complete product changeovers.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly.
- Abide by all safety standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Report food safety and quality concerns to authorized personnel.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Production Line Leader or Maintenance Technician.
