Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM or later
Job Description:
We are hiring Production Workers for the Raw Department at a food production facility specializing in fresh and smoked fish products. This is a hands-on production position in a refrigerated, cooler environment. This is not a freezer or cold-storage position, but employees must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures throughout the shift.
Employees will work directly with fish and seafood products while performing processing, preparation, packaging, and general production duties.
Responsibilities
Work safely and efficiently on a seafood production line.
Handle and process fish and seafood products according to established procedures.
Assist with preparing, sorting, trimming, weighing, and packaging products.
Inspect products for quality and proper presentation.
Follow production instructions and meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Perform repetitive standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and other physical tasks throughout the shift.
Follow supervisor instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Perform additional production and sanitation duties as assigned.
Requirements
Previous food production, seafood, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
Must be comfortable working directly around fish and seafood products.
Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated/cool production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical work.
Ability to lift and move products and materials as required.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Must be able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Must be willing to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM or later.
