Production Associate

Responsibilities:

• Operate shear machine to cut metal according to production orders
• Read work orders, quality requirements, and measurements accurately
• Inspect materials and finished cuts for quality
• Adjust machine settings as needed for proper cuts
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with material handling as needed
• Previous shear operator or metal fabrication experience a plus, but not required
• Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus

Requirements: 

1. Trailer factory experience is a plus but not a requirement.
2. Need to be able to read a tape measure, operate power tools typical to the construction industry and perform moderate to heavy lifting.  
3. Most importantly need to be reliable, motivated and good natured.  

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to lift up to a minimum 60 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
