($19-$21hr)Based on Experience

Requirements of position

High school education or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Responsibilities of position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine information such as material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations required.

Requisition dies, fixtures, and material.

Examine defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction and reports need for machine repairs.

Set up and operate machines to make test runs and experimental products.

Inspect work in progress and finished products.

Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.

Confer with other coordinators to coordinate activities of individual departments.

Communicate personnel needs to management.

Communicate company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performances, and quality of product.

Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

Maintain time and production records.

Perform activities of assigned departments.
