Job Title: General Labor – Part TimeSchedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 1:30pm with 2 paid 15 minute breaks.Pay Rate: $18/hr to start with an increase to $18.50 after 3 months and an additional increase to $19/hr after 1 year. Job Description:A Production Freezer Pull employee is responsible for working as part of a team to remove frozen raw materials from freezer storage and stage them for thawing in preparation for future brining.
- Maintain knowledge of the entire product line and product specifications.
- Counts, measures, and examine packaging and product contents to ensure they meet company standards.
- Pulls products from the freezer to thaw for future brining.
- Learn and understand product batch codes.
- Complete all required paperwork clearly and accurately.
- Follow safe work practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate department equipment once trained.
- Participate in daily stretch breaks.
- Follow all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Must be able to work in a freezer environment
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Required to stand, bend, twist, push, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must wear proper PPE, including smock, hair net, apron, cutting glove, hearing protection, rubber gloves, and boot
