The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Packaging (Machine) Operator  to work at a leading food company located in the Broadview, IL   area!

Pay/hours for position




Compensation:  $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience 
Hours:                  2nd Shift:  3:00pm-11:00pm 
Days:     Monday-Friday 
 
                
 
 
 
 
Requirements of position



 Experience needed for the role: 

  • Must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience with operating and maintaining packaging machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to understand and speak English. 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, not required.

 
 
Responsibilities of position




 
Responsibilities include: 

  • Setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to assure all is running efficiently.
  • Operate and maintain the packaging and production machines. 
  • Monitor and assist with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
  • Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, cleanup and changeovers 
  • Ability to clean machines and work area properly during and after production runs or changeovers 
  • Responsible for reporting all food safety and quality issues to supervisor 
  • Follow supervisor’s directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.
