$40,000 Salary plus commission
Requirements of position
Required high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/ Business Administration/ Marketing or
equivalent OR two (2) years of previous outside sales experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent analytical skills for written and numerical data. • Clean driving record with valid driver’s license. • Computer literacy.
Responsibilities of position
Regularly visit targeted clients for the purpose of attracting new business and
retaining valuable existing business relationships.
• Keep abreast of the competition in the territory, understanding their strengths
and areas of opportunity of our competition to assist in the sales process.
• Maintain the Weekly Sales Plan/Forecast and Summary to ensure selling time
is maximized.
• Maintain the Target Account Lists to track the prescribed sales call process of
targeted prospects.
• Conduct all prescribed post-sales follow-up activities promptly to ensure
customer satisfaction.
• Become familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures as outlined
in the employee handbook.
• Attend and contribute feedback at all office meetings.
• Attend and participate fully in all training opportunities.
• Interact regularly with the inside sales support staff to ensure the best
possible service to clients.
• Develop and maintain a schedule of well-planned sales calls utilizing the
Weekly Sales Plan and Summary and Target Account List.
