Requirements of position

 
 

Qualifications:
  1. 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience (preferably in industrial, capital equipment, or material handling sales).
  2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  3. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  5. Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics industries.
  2. Familiarity with Toyota forklift products or other lift truck brands.
  3. Technical understanding of industrial equipment and solutions.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 Experience within Forklift Parts and Heavy Equipment a plus 
As an Outside Sales Executive for Toyota Lift Trucks, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and selling a full line of Toyota material handling equipment, including forklifts, warehouse solutions, and allied products. You will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and provide customized solutions that enhance productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers in your assigned territory.
  • Identify customer needs through site visits, consultations, and analysis of material handling operations.
  • Promote and sell new and used Toyota lift trucks, rentals, parts, service contracts, and warehouse solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals and presentations to customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (service, parts, rentals, admin) to fulfill customer needs.
  • Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, manage opportunities, and report activities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
