Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to service customer accounts and maintain product inventory throughout assigned delivery routes in the Valdosta area. This position involves driving a box truck, delivering products, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and building strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, managing routes efficiently, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck to deliver products to customer locations
- Stock shelves and maintain organized product displays
- Rotate product to ensure freshness and inventory accuracy
- Upsell products and promote sales opportunities at customer accounts
- Monitor and manage inventory levels
- Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ensure timely and accurate route completion
Requirements
- DOT certification preferred
- Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
- Ability to lift, move, and stock product throughout shift
- Previous route sales, merchandising, delivery, or warehouse experience is a plus
Compensation & Schedule
- $24.00 per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
