Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist (English/Spanish)
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our established medical practice. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and has a proven history of long-term employment in a physician's office. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer multi-line phones and schedule patient appointments.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals/authorizations as needed.
- Collect copays and update patient demographics.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform general administrative and front office duties.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a medical front desk role.
- Stable work history with longevity in a doctor's office is required.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems. (ECW)
- Knowledge of medical insurance verification and patient scheduling.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
