Our client is seeking a Maintenance Assembler; we are seeking a dependable and mechanically. Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling mechanical components, operating pneumatic tools, and working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to safely handle materials, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and work instructions.
- Pneumatic compressed air tools and other assembly equipment are safely operated.
- Apply the appropriate physical force to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Move pallets, bins, boxes, and materials throughout the production area.
- Read and understand basic assembly instructions and work orders.
- Use measuring devices and tools to ensure product accuracy and quality.
- Operate a milling machine (preferred but not required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience using pneumatic tools and hand tools.
- Ability to understand and use measuring instruments and assembly tooling.
- Experience operating a milling machine is a plus.
- Ability to safely move pallets and production materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull bins, boxes, and containers throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
