Job Description:
We are looking for Mechanical & Electrical Assemblers to install, assemble, repair, and modify components and systems on rail and transit vehicles. This role works with mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment while following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble mechanical and electrical components on rail vehicles
- Work on systems such as brakes, doors, lighting, train controls, HVAC, communications, power, and pneumatic systems
- Perform repairs and modifications following engineering instructions
- Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Record completed work and maintain accurate documentation
- Work with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Follow all safety procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of mechanical, electrical, or assembly experience
- Experience installing and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools, testing equipment, and measuring tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
