Job Summary
We are hiring Mechanical & Electrical Assemblers to build, install, and test systems on transit vehicles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
Assemble and install mechanical and electrical systems on rail vehicles
Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Work on systems like brakes, HVAC, doors, lighting, and electrical components
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
Inspect and test work to ensure quality and accuracy
Record basic information like measurements and test results
Assist with repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting
Maintain a clean and safe work area
What You Need:
2+ years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Experience using tools like multimeters, gauges, and measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in tight spaces
Must have your own basic hand tools
