Job Description:          
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with strong attendance record. 
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating a Mark Andy P5 or similar flexographic press. 
  • Strong understanding of flexographic printing, including inks, substrates, and die cutting processes. 
  • Proven ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot press equipment. 
  • Experience with color matching and basic print quality inspection tools. 
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production specs, and work instructions accurately. 
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. 
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended shifts. 
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or rotating shifts as required. 
Core Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and continuously monitor the Mark Andy P5 press to produce high-quality labels. 
  • Perform full press setups including plate mounting, ink mixing, material threading, and die cutting. 
  • Execute fast and accurate changeovers based on production schedules. 
  • Maintain consistent print quality through routine checks, ensuring proper color, registration, and overall consistency. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve press issues such as web breaks, ink flow problems, and tension adjustments to minimize downtime. 
  • Maintain proper ink viscosity and ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and organized. 
  • Inspect finished products using quality control tools and correct any defects as needed. 
  • Perform basic press maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs to support smooth operations. 
  • Accurately complete all production records, paperwork, and labeling requirements. 
  • Communicate effectively with leads and team members to meet daily production targets. 
  • Support training and onboarding of new or less experienced operators when required. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and proper material-handling guidelines at all times.
